Job Description
Island Beach Co. is hiring seasonal, full-time Sales Associates for our Charlottetown - Peaks Quay location. The ideal candidate is business focused, detail oriented and enjoys assisting customers. Island Beach Company family of stores began in 1988 and has grown to 18 locations across the Maritimes and Ottawa. The season is from Mid May to first of September, We specialize in men\xe2\x80\x99s, women\xe2\x80\x99s and children\xe2\x80\x99s clothing as well as specialty items and souvenirs. Store hours of operation are 9am to 9pm Specific Duties
- Operate computerized cash register
- Provide advice about merchandise
- Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
- Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase
- Prepare merchandise for purchase
- Assist in display of merchandise
- Standing for long periods of time, bending, lifting
- Flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends
- Fast-paced environment

Contract length: 3.5 months Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour Day range:
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
