Overview
We are seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional shopping experiences by providing knowledgeable assistance and personalized service. The ideal candidate is reliable, a multitasker, possesses strong communication skills, and has a passion for craft beer, natural wine and small batch spirits.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves and displays effectively Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked throughout shifts Demonstrate effective time management to balance multiple customer interactions efficiently
Qualifications
ProServe certified Previous experience in hospitality and/or retail Basic beverage knowledge Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and POS procedures Excellent communication skills Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor Good time management and multitasking skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
