: As a Glasses Store Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the perfect eyewear products to meet their vision needs and style preferences. Your knowledge of glasses frames, lenses, and eye care products will be essential in delivering an outstanding shopping experience. You will work closely with customers, fellow team members, and opticians to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth for the store.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
: Greet and welcome customers, engaging them in a friendly and professional manner. Provide personalized assistance and expert guidance to customers in selecting glasses frames, lenses, and accessories, taking into account their vision requirements, facial features, and personal style.
Sales
: Proactively approach customers, listen to their needs, and recommend appropriate eyewear solutions. Utilize your product knowledge to educate customers on the features and benefits of various eyewear products, driving sales and upselling where appropriate.
Team Collaboration
: Collaborate effectively with fellow sales associates, opticians, and other store staff to ensure a seamless customer experience. Communicate customer feedback, preferences, and special requests to enhance future interactions.
Administrative Tasks
: Perform basic administrative duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and processing payments. Maintain accurate and updated customer records and assist with billing and insurance claim procedures as required.
Qualifications and Skills
:
High school diploma or equivalent (additional experience in eyewear sales is a plus).
Proven experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role, preferably in the eyewear industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
Sales-driven mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Detail-oriented and able to perform accurate measurements and adjustments.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
