Job Overview

Mission Thrift Store Burlington is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate who enjoys working in a thrift store environment. This role is dynamic and hands-on, supporting not only the sales floor and cash register but also assisting in donations, pricing, and other production areas. You will have the opportunity to work across all departments in a fun and flexible environment. Our store is volunteer-based, so a positive attitude and enjoyment of working with a team of volunteers is essential.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers on the sales floor, providing friendly and helpful service. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately. Assist with receiving, sorting, and processing donations. Price and organize merchandise in the production and sales areas. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. Support all departments as needed, including stocking, displays, and inventory management. Collaborate with volunteers and team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Follow store policies and procedures, including safety and loss prevention guidelines. Uphold and support the values of our Christian organization in all interactions. Other duties may apply as required.

Requirements

Previous retail experience is an asset. Enjoys working in a thrift store or retail environment. Positive attitude and ability to work well with volunteers and team members. Flexible and willing to assist in multiple departments. Ability to carry items up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that involve walking, bending, and lifting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35,000.00-$37,500.00 per year
