Job Description
Our client, a leader in the logistic industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a teamwork and a sense of urgency skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Retail Sales Representative
Location: Barrie, ON
Shifts: (Thurs-Fri 03.30PM to 08.15PM & Sat 08.45AM to 04.15PM)
Pay rate: $17 per hour.
What\xe2\x80\x99s the Job?
- Unloading and sorting freight.
- Preload while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belt, Scanning, cubing, reweighting.
- Build positive relationships with teams (couriers, lead hands and sorters).
- Customer interaction will be done over the phone
- Needs to comfortable with using computers
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs. Should have a Steel Toed Safety boots/shoes which are CSA Approved
- Strong customer focus and communication
- The role will be fast faced involving a lot of talking, standing for long periods of time and heavy lifting of freight, and a lot of scanning of freight
- Retail and POS experience
- Needs to be comfortable with warehouse environment.
- Weekly pay, every Friday.
- 4% of vacation pay.
- Temporary position.
