Ski Rental Sales Associate

Nakiska Ski Resort is looking for a Ski Rental Sales Associate who provides exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Ski Rental / Sales Associate is responsible for fitting ski/snowboard equipment to the customer, ensuring customer needs are met, and service is quick and efficient.

Winter 2025 / 2026

Start Dates: November 19th, 2025

Essential Responsibilities (But not limited to):

Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options Ensure equipment on rental "ready" line is clean, serviced, and tested according to company standards Willingness to be cross trained in retail sales/stocking duties Be a strong contributor to a teamwork environment and adhere to all shift schedules Efficient and accurate use of point-of-sale registers handling monetary transactions Greet all guests with a smile and always maintain a positive attitude Follow all company standards regarding paperwork and cash management Always deliver an enthusiastic and professional level of guest service Adhere to all safety procedures Maintain all paperwork according to company policy Be briefly exposed to extreme weather conditions on resort (cold, wind, snow, altitude). Ensure proactive communication with other key departments on resort, be able to address guest inquiries Assist the RRR Manager with any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous Ski/Snowboard rental experience an asset Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry

Previous cash handling experience

Commitment to providing excellent customer service Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and guests Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends Able to lift 25-50lbs - required.
