Join ADM Design Inc., a dynamic company specializing in interior design, renovations, and decor. We are looking for a Retail Operations Coordinator to enhance our team. This role involves managing the retail department, sales, supporting shipping and receiving processes and events. Additionally, the role focuses on driving sales within the retail space and capturing design clients through exceptional customer engagement.

We seek a proactive, sales-driven individual who can streamline our operations, elevate retail sales, and contribute to a vibrant store environment. The ideal candidate will oversee the retail department, manage inventory, engage customers, and manage staff schedules to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities



Manage and oversee the daily operations of the retail department, ensuring effective merchandising, stock organization, and superior customer service. Drive sales performance within the retail environment, setting and achieving sales goals, and utilizing upselling techniques to generate business. Capture design clients through personalized customer engagement, identifying opportunities to offer design services and promoting relevant products. Supervise retail team members, providing guidance and support to meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer service. Schedule retail staff, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours, coordinating time off requests, and managing shift assignments. Manage inventory, conducting regular counts, and maintaining accurate records in the POS system. Coordinate and manage all company events, from planning to execution, to enhance brand awareness and engage with customers. Lead social media content creation and management to increase brand visibility, attract new customers, and generate leads. Organize and display products in the showroom, contributing to a visually appealing and engaging retail environment. Oversee shipping and receiving activities, ensuring smooth processes for incoming and outgoing orders. Ensure a safe, organized, and efficient retail operations environment. Process returns in the POS system with accuracy and efficiency. Complete additional tasks as required, demonstrating initiative and professionalism.

Qualifications



High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid G Class Driver's License with a clean driving record. Strong sales skills with a proven ability to drive retail performance and meet sales goals. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to lift items 70+ pounds, such as the other end of a couch, and perform physical tasks throughout the day. Basic computer proficiency for inventory management, event planning, and social media platforms. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. 3+ years of experience in retail or customer service, with a focus on sales and ideally some store management experience. Familiarity with POS systems and QuickBooks is a plus. Experience in managing events and social media marketing is an asset. Must be willing to travel to Newmarket Head Office
