. This hybrid role involves working directly in our beer retail store -- helping customers, maintaining inventory, and managing point-of-sale systems -- while also supporting the office team with various administrative and coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Store Duties:
Greet and assist customers in selecting and purchasing beer and merchandise
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space
Operate Shopify POS system, handle cash and electronic payments
Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and assist with receiving deliveries
Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and promotions
Enforce age verification and responsible service practices
Office Support Duties:
Assist with data entry, order processing, and creating invoice via Quickbooks
Set up new customers in QuickBooks
Support/Track inventory
Help prepare documents, labels, and packaging/promotional materials
Respond to phone/email inquiries
Liaise between the retail team and office staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail, customer service, or administrative roles preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable multitasking in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in basic computer software (e.g., Excel, email platforms, POS systems, Quickbooks)
Must be of legal drinking age
Smart Serve certified
Interest in beer or beverage alcohol is an asset
Working Conditions:
Weekend and evening availability may be required
Some lifting or stock handling (up to 40 lbs)
