Responsibilities

Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to customer specifications and company standards. Ensure all meat products are properly packaged and labeled for display. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area, adhering to food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections and answering any questions they may have. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate any shortages or needs to management. Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and preparation. Assist in training new staff members on proper meat cutting techniques and safety practices.

Skills

Proficient in meat cutting techniques with experience in the food industry preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers. Familiarity with equipment used for food preparation and meat cutting. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain cleanliness in the workspace. A passion for food preparation and an eagerness to learn new skills related to butchery.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
