Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager proficient in Vintage and Designer clothing to lead our store operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and comprehensive knowledge of retail management. This role involves overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, and ensuring an excellent shopping experience for customers. Bilingual skills and experience in merchandising, sales management, and marketing are highly valued to effectively engage with diverse customer bases and optimize store performance.

Duties



Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve sales goals Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, cashiering, and POS transactions Manage merchandising strategies to ensure attractive product displays and optimal inventory levels Implement pricing strategies and oversee purchasing to maximize profitability Develop and execute marketing initiatives to increase foot traffic and sales Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and prepare reports for upper management Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining high satisfaction levels Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a strong team Manage payroll, budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth store functioning Maintain effective communication within the team and with corporate headquarters to align store objectives with company policies

Experience



Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail settings with a focus on team management and sales growth Strong background in retail sales, merchandising, POS systems, and cash handling Experience in marketing, pricing strategies, purchasing, and inventory management Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and develop talent through training & development programs Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in budgeting, bookkeeping, time management, and administrative tasks Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer demographics Prior experience with negotiation, recruiting, interviewing, marketing initiatives, and store management is preferred Knowledge of retail management software and basic math skills for financial transactions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
