Retail District Manager

As the Quebec District Manager you will lead and manage a Field Team in support of clients throughout multiple retailers spanning different channels, including interviewing and hiring of your team, managing all aspects of their training, scheduling and quality execution of visits, completion of all reports and overall performance.

Responsibilities

  • Quebec Region Staff Management
  • Staff all projects, re-assign call reports due to staffing changes as needed
  • Identify territory vacancies, recruiting, interviewing and hiring, onboarding
  • Maintain Reset Team Staff List, including contract renewals
  • Merchandising Rep Oversight (approximately 50 PT reps)
  • Drive quality instore execution throughout your region
  • Collaborate daily with Field Supervisors
  • Work with various Merchandise Team Clients from field perspective
  • Call Report/Program Compliance
  • Daily T&E approval including reviewing quality of work by photo vetting and approving time and expenses for compliance. Send FS any training issues/work with requests
  • Rep Package Compliance
  • Training Attendance
  • Communicate with staff via email, phone etc. regarding planogram requests/issues, project staffing, compliance, coaching and any follow up.
  • Escalate HR related matters to National Field Manager for guidance
  • Respond to any payroll inquiries
Make Travel Arrangements for excess travel (via Concur)

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills Required
  • Retail experience in drug and/or mass. (Ideally 3+ years)
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Strong organization skills
  • Basic to low intermediate MS Office - particularly Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Strong coaching and development of team skills (Both locally and remotely)
  • Experience staffing/deploying resources
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fluid program atmosphere
  • Motivational and passionate. Takes ownership of work and team with a Can-Do attitude
