Job Summary
We are seeking a happy, energetic Retail Sales Associate to join our team for 2-3 shifts a week with more at Christmas time. This is a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with an interest in toys and games for children. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, processing sales transactions, and providing exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience. Must be available to work weekends as well as during the week.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Upsell products and services to meet sales goals
- Handle cash transactions
Experience:
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service
- Knowledge of children's toy and sales techniques a bonus
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.40-$17.75 per hour
