The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports science, biomechanics, or a related field, along with practical experience in coaching or personal training. A passion for running, coupled with expertise in footwear and biomechanics, is essential for success in this role. Additionally, technical proficiency, particularly with IT equipment, is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Engage with consumers to introduce them to our in-store running experience and encourage participation in test runs.Track and report on key performance metrics related to test run participation and sales conversions.Provide expert guidance and advice to customers on all aspects of running, including training techniques, injury prevention, and biomechanics.Conduct gait analysis and biomechanical assessments to recommend appropriate footwear and running techniques to every level of runner.Drive sales by effectively communicating the benefits of our products and services to customers.Stay current on industry and company trends, research, and best practices related to running, biomechanics, and sports science.Maintain a high level of customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.Accountable for the seamless execution of in-store activations events, in collaboration with the CEM, VM, and Retail Operations MGRPositively communicates and role models the adidas Brand Values.Positively influences all business stakeholders by offering suggestions and ideas on ways to improve operations and processes within their area of expertiseTake full ownership of key performance indicators relevant to stages of consumer engagement and own performanceQualifications:Deep knowledge in sports science, kinesiology, physiotherapy, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.Proven experience as a personal trainer, coach, or running specialist.In-depth knowledge of running biomechanics, footwear technology, and training principles.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers and colleagues.Excellent networking skills and customer relationship managementHas a background in retail sales and/or in a customer service facing rolePassion for running and a commitment to promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.Technical proficiency with IT equipment and familiarity with fitness tracking devices and software are a plus.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentHas local knowledge of sporting events and city sporting events and is able to communicate them effectively to their team as unique selling points for products and servicesHas sound product knowledge of both Adidas & 3rd party products.Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 2-year college or university degree in business, retail management, or related field experience.\xc2\xb7 Minimum 4 years\' experience working in a sports/fashion consumer & commercial focused retailEnvironment.\xc2\xb7 Experience in managing high level retail image and delivering consumer in-store experience\xc2\xb7 Experience in people management, leading and directing multiple team members in a busy task-oriented environment.Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at adidas means championing individual uniqueness and cultivating a culture of belonging in which everyone can create at their best.
