Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences. Conduct engaging product demonstrations and explain the effects, benefits, and usage of various cannabis products. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments. Maintain an organized sales floor through merchandising, stocking shelves, and ensuring product displays are appealing and compliant with regulations. Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Provide knowledgeable guidance on product usage, dosage, and safety considerations to promote responsible consumption. Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, restocking shelves, and assisting with inventory counts. Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Assist with store cleanliness, safety protocols, and overall store maintenance to ensure a welcoming environment. Support team members through supervising tasks as needed and contributing to a collaborative retail atmosphere.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred; experience in supervising or leading teams is a plus. Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about industry-specific regulations is advantageous. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math is essential for accurate transactions. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate customers effectively about products. Experience conducting product demos or upselling techniques will set you apart. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are critical for creating positive interactions. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise safely, and maintain attention to detail throughout your shift.
