Home is Here is a small, family owned and operated store in downtown Summerside. We carry a considered collection of homeware, gifts and lifestyle products from established brands, local designers and unique makers from around the world. We strive to live our values of kindness, empathy and respect through our daily interactions with the people who walk through our doors and by finding ways to give back to our community.

We are looking to add a part-time permanent member to our team starting immediately.
The store operates Tuesday - Friday (11- 5pm), and Saturday (10 - 5pm) .
The successful candidate will be available to work 6 hour shifts 2-3 times per week •including weekends •. Home is Here offers flexibility in which days of the week and the option to work half shifts.

Job Duties:

• Serving customers by developing rapport, building customer confidence, providing accurate information, and helping with product selection
• Demonstrating knowledge of products and inventory to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace or retail floor
• Performing all required cash register transactions efficiently and accurately
• Contributing to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing incoming product flow
• Providing excellent customer service by responding to customer questions or issues regarding product features and benefits
• Resolving customer complaints
