Position Description

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Shoppers Drug Mart, the Retail Associate will provide efficient and courteous customer service and merchandising of stock.

Here's What You'll Get To Do

Play a large role in the merchandising and rotation of products according to merchandising guidelines ensuring product is presentable, clean and saleable Ensure all loss prevention systems and procedures are performed according to established guidelines while keeping the store clean and safe for customers and employees Perform all standard cash register transactions proficiently and accurately according to operational procedures including cash, debit card, and credit card transactions Provide superior customer service, answer customer inquiries and resolve complaints

Here's What You'll Need

High School Diploma is preferred Shoppers Drug Mart experience is preferred Minimum 1 year of previous retail experience and accurate and efficient service in a retail environment Understanding of electronic cash register systems and basic merchandising principles Good communication and excellent interpersonal skills A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity & inclusion
