Duties



Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning throughout each shift Lead, motivate, and supervise a diverse team of sales associates and staff members to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stock counts, and coordinating purchasing and merchandising activities Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize sales opportunities Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction Conduct staff training sessions on product knowledge, POS (Point of Sale) systems, cashiering procedures, and customer service best practices Assist with recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates, onboarding new employees, and supporting employee orientation programs Maintain accurate payroll records, oversee cash handling procedures, and ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls Support marketing initiatives by promoting store events and engaging with local community activities Ensure adherence to health and safety standards while supervising store cleanliness and organization

Skills



Strong leadership skills with proven experience in retail management or assistant management roles Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math calculations Skilled in negotiation, purchasing decisions, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development Competent in bookkeeping, payroll processing, cash handling, and store financial management Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure Knowledge of merchandising techniques and inventory control procedures Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.56 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
