If so, The Rider Store is seeking an individual like you who enjoys speaking to people, driving success, problem solving, and providing excellent customer service to Rider Nation!Reporting to the Retail Store Manager at The Rider Store, this role will support management in the day to day operations of the retail merchandise outlet. Fan experience and customer service are key focuses of this role which work to maintain and support sales and strategic growth. Training, coaching and providing feedback to retail associates to meet sales budgets and key performance indicators is ongoing with the assistant manager role.You will be given the opportunity to develop and improve your skills and abilities while working in an upbeat and positive environment. You will also have the chance to work closely with knowledgeable and friendly individuals that will assist you in building your career.Major Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Support The Rider Store operations in the absence of the store manager.\xc2\xb7 Provides regular and timely training, coaching and feedback to all store associates.\xc2\xb7 Lead and execute merchandising the store within the established guidelines.\xc2\xb7 Ensure that stock replenishment is regular and timely from the backroom to support sales goals and fan experience.\xc2\xb7 Support online sales through customer fulfillment from alternate store stock and ships goods to customer.\xc2\xb7 Understand, support, and be involved with the operations of theriderstore.ca, leverage potential sales, provide feedback on promotions and ensure timeliness of order fulfillment is being observed.\xc2\xb7 Works with store manager to understand schedule planning to support daily operations and works to understand when to make adjustments based sales performance\xc2\xb7 Communicates with all levels of Club employees in a positive and professional manner in both written and verbal format.\xc2\xb7 Contributes ideas for the annual business planning cycle to management for potential inclusion on the planning document.\xc2\xb7 Responds to and is empowered to resolve customer concerns to ensure the customer experience is supported. Seeks additional information and support when necessary.\xc2\xb7 Ensures that all daily deposits and internal reporting standards are met and communicates any discrepancies to the store manager.\xc2\xb7 Supports and upholds all Saskatchewan Roughrider policies and guidelines.\xc2\xb7 Ensure staff and management are adhering to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and guidelines that are set out by the government, and reporting all employee and customer incidents.\xc2\xb7 Supports and participates in planned Rider events to maximize sales opportunities.\xc2\xb7 Supports and communicates with other Rider work units to obtain future event information.\xc2\xb7 Communicates and makes information available to store associates regarding Rider club initiatives to support the fan/customer experience.\xc2\xb7 Seek customer feedback about Rider products, services and events and provide the information to the store manager in an organized, summarized manner.\xc2\xb7 Assists in the support of Rider programs and events as assigned.\xc2\xb7 Performs other duties as delegated or assigned.RequirementsWhat is needed for success?\xc2\xb7 1-2 years related management experience in a retail service environment with proven coaching and training skills coupled with financial analysis, merchandising and organizational skills.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability in the Excel and Word software packages.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and seek positive solutions to problems that may arise\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated motivational abilities in staff motivation, team building and effective training techniques.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated aptitude for change and innovation in a fast paced environment with frequent changes in priorities.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated professionalism when responding to staff and customer concerns\xc2\xb7 Experience with creating daily deposits and cash handling procedures.\xc2\xb7 Independent thinking style that demonstrates a willingness to contribute ideas and suggestions as well as raise issues with management.\xc2\xb7 Team oriented style with a \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d service focus to achieve organizational results.\xc2\xb7 Availability to work irregular hours and work schedules.\xc2\xb7 Available to work all game days.BenefitsWhat do we commit to you?\xc2\xb7 Opportunity to contribute to the success of one of Canada\xe2\x80\x99s largest brands and an organization that is a cornerstone of our province and Rider Nation.\xc2\xb7 The passion of being part of something much bigger than all of us.
