Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process cash handling transactions accurately, including handling payments and providing change as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety guidelines during food preparation and service to ensure guest safety. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high standards of hygiene in food preparation and service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
