The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in driving the success of our restaurant by supervising team members, managing food preparation processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Duties
Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including interviewing and training new team members
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure quality standards are met
Manage daily restaurant operations, including POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and resolving issues promptly
Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
Supervise food service activities, including serving guests and managing barista or hospitality services if applicable
Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cash handling duties
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with kitchen staff for food supply management
Enforce cleanliness and sanitation standards across the restaurant environment
Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and oversee team management to optimize productivity
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
Strong knowledge of food industry standards, food safety protocols, and kitchen operations
Experience with food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Supervising experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is essential
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively
Leadership qualities with experience in team management and training
Ability to interview candidates and build a cohesive team environment
Knowledge of hospitality industry trends including hotel or barista experience is a plus
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food safety and cleanliness standards
