We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and customer service skills. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests while managing staff and maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities



Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving. Manage staff by providing training, supervision, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of service. Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Micros POS. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas. Develop and implement effective team management strategies to enhance employee engagement and productivity. Conduct interviews and hire new staff members to build a strong team. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food handling processes to minimize waste. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that meet customer preferences while adhering to budget constraints. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and hospitality.

Experience



Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Micros POS preferred). Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members is highly desirable. Previous experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or cafes is an advantage. Barista experience is a plus for establishments that serve coffee or specialty beverages.
