We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and materials to designated locations. Perform routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading or unloading tasks. Assist with basic automotive repairs or maintenance when required to ensure vehicle reliability.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Experience in freight transportation is preferred. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus. Forklift certification is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to safety and compliance with all driving regulations.
