The Role
The ReStore Sales Floor Associate plays a key role in shaping the customer experience through great service and engaging visual presentation. Ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working with their hands, and helping customers, this role supports the day-to-day operations of the ReStore floor.
You'll help stage and rearrange inventory to create an inviting space, answer customer questions, and assist with sales. You'll also lend a hand at the cash desk or donation area as needed. If you love keeping things organized, solving problems on the fly, and being part of a fun, mission-driven team, this role could be a great fit.
Duties and Responsibilities
Greet customers and assist with product inquiries, pricing, and locating items.
Help stage and merchandise the floor to highlight key products and maximize flow.
Rearrange and move items to maintain clean, logical, and appealing layouts.
Assist in receiving and moving inventory from the back room to the floor.
Maintain general store tidiness and cleanliness (sweeping, dusting, touch-ups).
Help load large purchases into customer vehicles.
Assist with signage and in-store promotional displays.
Support the front cash desk during busy times and to cover breaks.
Pitch in with donation intake and sorting when required
Flag safety concerns and report them to management promptly
Participate in special events or promotional sales activities when needed
Qualifications and Skills
Positive attitude and customer-first mindset
Enjoys hands-on work and staying active throughout the day
Strong sense of organization and visual presentation
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing needs
Friendly and approachable with all types of people
Basic computer comfort and ability to learn POS system
Physically able to stand for long periods and frequently lift/move items up to 50lbs.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Previous experience in retail, staging, or warehouse environments is an asset.
Experience working in volunteer organization is an asset.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
