Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restorative Dental Hygienist for casual shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting optimal oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases and conditions by providing accurate patient assessments. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring all medical terminology is correctly documented. Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including orthodontic and pediatric care. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and retention. Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies to ensure the highest standard of care.

Experience

Previous experience as a Restorative Dental Hygienist is required; candidates with experience in dental assisting will be considered a plus. Strong customer service skills are necessary to foster positive relationships with patients and staff alike. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial for effective communication within the team.
