We are looking for a
Restoration Coordinator / Junior Estimator
to join our administrative team. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in learning the estimating side of restoration projects while keeping our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work Orders & Estimating
Create work orders and prepare preliminary estimates for review.
Assist with onsite measurements or job evaluations as required.
Collaborate with project managers to finalize estimates and schedule work.
Maintain accurate records of all estimates, work orders, and communications.
2. Scheduling & Dispatch
Monitor project manager calendars to ensure jobs and onsite visits are scheduled efficiently.
Assign technicians based on availability and workload.
Ensure all job details are clearly outlined in the dispatch system.
3. Technician Coordination
Follow up with technicians for job updates and completion confirmations.
Prepare and submit invoices once jobs are approved.
Keep detailed internal notes and records of job progress.
4. Materials & Subcontractor Coordination
Order necessary materials and supplies for jobs.
Coordinate scheduling with subcontractors for specialized work (e.g., flooring, drywall).
Ensure timing aligns with project schedules and communicate updates to the team.
5. On-Call Scheduling
Prepare and distribute weekly on-call schedules for technicians.
Update dispatch to reflect on-call assignments.
6. Weekly Job & Billing Review
Run reports to identify unscheduled jobs, pending estimates, and incomplete billing.
Follow up to ensure administrative tasks and projects stay on track.
7. Estimating Support (Junior Estimator Duties)
Assist senior staff with developing accurate cost estimates for restoration projects.
Learn to assess materials, labor, and project scope under guidance.
Participate in site visits as needed to gather information for estimates.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in administrative coordination, restoration, construction, or service dispatch preferred.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
Interest in learning estimating for restoration projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating or job management software is an asset.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
