We are seeking a reliable and skilled Crew Member to join our deli-style restaurant team. This position is hands-on and requires strong knife skills, food preparation experience, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting and be comfortable balancing back-of-house prep duties with front-of-house customer service when needed.
Duties
Perform daily food preparation tasks, including cutting vegetables, preparing toppings, and cooking recipes to standard
Use proper knife skills and safe food-handling practices during prep and service
Assist with setting up and stocking the service line for daily operations
Provide friendly customer service when serving guests and handling cash register transactions
Wash dishes, clean prep areas, and maintain overall cleanliness in both kitchen and service areas
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the day
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
Support other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant, deli, or kitchen setting is required
Strong knife skills and confidence with food preparation tasks
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience with cash handling and POS systems is an asset
Team-oriented, dependable, and willing to take initiative
