Duties

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems for efficient order processing and payment handling. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing any concerns promptly. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with bussing tables and ensuring a tidy dining environment for guests. Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control. Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary skills is a plus. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
