Job Summary


We are seeking a Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our vibrant dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a background in the food industry or customer service, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires effective team management, ensuring that both staff and guests have a positive experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities



Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain inventory levels and manage supply orders to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Handle cash management duties, including cash handling and reconciliation of sales reports. Utilize POS systems (Micros POS) for order processing and financial tracking. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Implement marketing strategies to promote restaurant services and enhance customer engagement. Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.

Skills



Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Experience in supervising staff within a fast-paced food service environment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the hospitality industry. Ability to conduct interviews and select qualified candidates for various positions within the restaurant. Previous experience in kitchen operations or barista roles is advantageous. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
