Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and customer service skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, food and labour costs. and maintaining high standards of service and quality.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to standards. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety. Manage POS systems, including cash handling and transaction accuracy. Lead and train staff in food handling, customer service, and hospitality best practices. Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce. Maintain cleanliness and organization in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas. Implement food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menu items that meet customer preferences.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Mediterranean restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management and supervision. Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences. Previous experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff is advantageous. Background in hospitality or hotel management is a plus.
