We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment along side the Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of quality in both food preparation and service.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, including staff management and customer service.
Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and ensure exceptional performance.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
Utilize POS systems for cash handling and transaction processing.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Assist in shift management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Experience with inventory control and budgeting processes.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Familiarity with various POS systems.
Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred.
Culinary experience or kitchen management expertise is a plus.
Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings and weekends as needed.
