Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, possess excellent leadership skills, and be committed to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in all aspects of the restaurant.

Responsibilities



Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision and shift management Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety regulations Maintain inventory control and manage ordering supplies as needed Train, develop, and mentor staff to enhance their skills and performance Handle cash management and ensure accurate cash handling procedures Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing Provide exceptional customer service and address any guest concerns promptly Implement budgeting strategies to optimize operational efficiency Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and quality standards Conduct interviews and assist in hiring qualified staff members Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration

Skills



Strong background in restaurant management with experience in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary experience Knowledge of inventory control processes and food handling practices Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on training & development of team members Experience in hospitality management with a commitment to customer satisfaction Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial budgeting Ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining high operational standards Previous experience in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
