We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient restaurant operations, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a team to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Duties
Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
Supervise staff and provide training on food handling, customer service, and restaurant management practices.
Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Implement effective team management strategies to foster a positive work culture.
Conduct interviews and hire qualified staff to meet operational needs.
Utilize POS systems (including Micros POS) for order processing and inventory management.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality control.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Micros POS is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing restaurant operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
Previous kitchen experience is an asset; barista or hotel experience is also beneficial.
