We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Duties



Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of service. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards. Manage POS systems, including cash handling and transaction accuracy. Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, fostering a positive team environment. Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a skilled workforce. Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences. Maintain inventory control, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Skills



Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage teams effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Solid understanding of food handling practices and safety regulations. Experience in interviewing and training staff members is highly desirable. Background in kitchen operations or barista experience is an asset.
