Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires effective leadership, team management, and operational oversight to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities



Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and development of team members to enhance performance and service quality. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards in line with menu specifications. Handle inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste. Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction processing. Implement budgetary controls and manage financial aspects of the restaurant effectively. Foster a positive dining experience by ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates on restaurant performance. Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours while maintaining operational efficiency. Collaborate with kitchen management to streamline food production processes and enhance menu offerings.

Qualifications



Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and culinary techniques. Experience with quick service & fast food restaurants as well as casual dining environments is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management within a restaurant setting. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally. Experience in staff training, development, and performance evaluation is essential. Background in hospitality management or related fields is an advantage. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs. Pay: $18.63-$27.11 per hour
