Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Restaurant Manager

to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. A background in food preparation, kitchen management, and hospitality is essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer service to ensure high-quality standards. Supervise and manage restaurant staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems. Ensure efficient kitchen operations by supervising food handling, cooking processes, and food presentation. Lead team management efforts to motivate staff, foster teamwork, and promote a positive work environment. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and supplies. Address customer concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction and retention. Implement policies related to hospitality standards, food industry best practices, and restaurant management procedures. Assist in developing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Skills



Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations. Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms. Supervising experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence. Skilled in food handling procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage conflict resolution. Experience in interviewing candidates and building a cohesive team. Background in hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required. Knowledge of kitchen operations, food industry trends, and restaurant experience is highly desirable.
