We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Implement effective POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling. Conduct interviews and hire new staff members to build a strong team. Foster a positive work environment through team management and leadership. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain high standards of food handling and safety practices throughout the restaurant. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality control. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations. Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively. Experience in interviewing, training, and developing staff members. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant operations. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.25-$18.00 per hour
