Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, showcasing exceptional leadership and customer service skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of food preparation and service.

Duties

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality service. Manage and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service protocols. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing food handling processes. Utilize POS systems (including Micros POS) for cash handling and sales tracking. Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce. Implement health and safety regulations to maintain compliance with food safety standards. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain quality control in food presentation and taste.

Experience

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong background in supervising teams, with demonstrated leadership abilities. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations. Experience with cash handling procedures and POS systems is essential. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus, as well as barista experience. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
