The Goat Tap & Eatery in Lakeshore Ontario is looking for an experienced Server Supervisor to join their team!

The Server Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring smooth front-of-house operations during service. This position supports management by leading the server team, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring every guest receives an outstanding experience. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, approachable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Team Leadership & Support

Lead, motivate, and support servers during all shifts. Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate specials, promotions, and service standards. Assist with training new servers and supporting ongoing staff development. Provide in-the-moment coaching to ensure consistent quality and guest satisfaction.

Guest Experience

Maintain a strong presence on the floor, stepping in where needed to support service. Handle guest concerns professionally and effectively to ensure a positive outcome. Monitor table service flow to ensure timely food and beverage delivery.

Operations & Service Standards

Ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the dining room, bar area, and service stations. Oversee side duties and ensure staff complete opening/closing checklists. Support management with shift planning, reservations, and large-party coordination. Follow and enforce all food safety and alcohol service policies.

Qualifications

2-3 years of serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar (required). Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a strong asset. Smart Serve certification (required). Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure. Weekend and evening availability is required.
Open 7 days a week for lunch, dinner and late night dining, The Goat is a destination for locals to get out and enjoy a great meal and some cold beer. Applicants should have at least 2 years of supervising experience. Smart serve is required. This individual will be responsible for handling customers orders, as well as overseeing the staff and daily operations based on their schedule.
