We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Your role will involve supervising staff, managing food preparation, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient operations during shifts Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards Manage Point of Sale (POS) systems, including cash handling and transaction accuracy Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and service quality Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency

Qualifications

Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant management or supervisory role Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations Familiarity with POS systems Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality Ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment Experience in interviewing and training staff is highly desirable A course in food safety standards and regulations is essential Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members This list includes, but is not limited to the above.
