The Whistle Bear Golf Club is seeking dynamic, outgoing, and professional individuals to join our team and provide our members and guests with genuine and thoughtful service. Whistle Bear has a distinct emphasis on family membership and participation and has developed into a multi-sport facility; family-friendly Club and while being strongly rooted in the community. Whistle Bear has breathtaking landscape, an elegant clubhouse, incredible cuisine perfect for weddings and events while celebrating milestones with our guests.

What do we expect from our restaurant servers?

We know that hospitality professionals are often at different stages of their professional development and we take pride in providing an encouraging and instructional environment where we can learn from one another.

Our service team at the Whistle Bear Golf Club has a commitment to quality, to genuine customer service. Our servers are expected to have a good base knowledge of the food we serve, the wines we pour and the cocktails we mix while continuously looking for opportunities to learn. Our menu changes with the season, and is often supplied from our own organic farm during growing season so there are always new things to taste and talk about.

Successful Candidates will possess the following skills:

Be clean, thorough and organized, in your environment, your time-management, in your communication to others, and in your additional duties and responsibilities. If it is worth doing, it is worth doing right the first time. Pride in ownership! Treat each table like they are your own guests, clear courses completely, reset with clean and polished cutlery, remove unnecessary items from table. Everything should have a purpose. Flexibility is important - this business changes quickly, and a great candidate will be willing to changing with it. From holidays to weekends, late nights - we ask that you try to consider the needs of the business. Smart Serve Certification required
