Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and kitchen. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed throughout service.

Skills

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is essential. Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience with upselling techniques to promote menu items is a plus. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential traits for success in this role.
