As a Server, you will be responsible for providing outstanding guest services while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining knowledge of menu items to assist guests with recommendations and upselling opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards and food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring all items are prepared according to established guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or special requests efficiently. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all guests receive prompt service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with a solid understanding of guest services and hospitality principles. Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's operational needs.
