We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to health regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience. Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating knowledge of food handling practices.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts effectively. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry. Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills accurately. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, including serving and cashiering roles. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
