Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service. You will be responsible for ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued while efficiently managing their dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take customer orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS, and relay them to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Manage multiple tables effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure all guests receive prompt service. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all food handling practices meet industry standards. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations in the food industry. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
