Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver orders to tables and ensure guest satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or complaints
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Skills:
- Food service experience preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Cashiering experience and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for guests
- Basic food preparation skills, such as assembling salads or desserts
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and procedures
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and splitting checks
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
