Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering outstanding service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the guest experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation. Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance guest satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards before serving. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Provide excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of the food industry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining atmosphere. Time management skills to handle multiple tables effectively during busy periods. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player with excellent communication skills who thrives in a collaborative setting.
