We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen staff.
Deliver food and beverages to customers in a timely manner while maintaining attention to detail.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their experience.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the area, including service stations.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations throughout the service process.
Requirements
Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
Familiarity with POS systems.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.
Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
