Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are accurately processed and delivered.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS, ensuring all items are entered correctly. Deliver food and drinks promptly to guests, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Provide attentive service by checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change when necessary. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations, in accordance with sanitation standards.

Skills

Proven experience in the food service industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred but not required. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members alike.
