Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations
Assist with food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff as needed
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities and enhance guest satisfaction
Manage guest inquiries professionally, addressing concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Experience in hospitality or the food industry is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for serving guests is essential
Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
