Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Process customer orders efficiently using the POS system, ensuring accurate cash handling and transactions. Provide excellent hospitality by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations. Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Uphold high standards of food handling practices to ensure guest safety.

Requirements

Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential. Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic math skills for accurate order processing. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a restaurant setting. A passion for hospitality and helping others enjoy their dining experience is highly valued.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour
